Who we are
ClipViral ("ClipViral," "we," "us") is an AI-powered app that helps clippers find content, clip it, edit it, and post it. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, beta waitlist, and app, and how we use it.
Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Your email address and any other details you enter when you join the waitlist or sign up for the beta.
- Account details, such as a username, if you create a ClipViral account.
- Feedback, messages, and anything else you send us.
Content you use in the app:
- Videos, links, and clips you upload, import, or create in ClipViral, so we can process them and give you your clips.
Information collected automatically:
- Basic device and usage information, like device type, app version, and how you use features, to keep the app working and improve it.
- Our website host may collect standard technical data like IP address and browser type.
How we use your information
- To run the waitlist and give you beta access.
- To provide, maintain, and improve ClipViral, including our AI clipping and editing features.
- To send you updates about ClipViral, like launch news and access invites. You can opt out anytime.
- To respond to your feedback and support requests.
- To keep ClipViral secure and prevent abuse.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it:
- With service providers that help us run ClipViral (for example, website hosting, data storage like Google Sheets, and AI or cloud processing), only as needed to provide their services.
- When you choose to post or share clips to other platforms, which then handle that content under their own policies.
- If required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of ClipViral and our users.
- If ClipViral is involved in a merger, sale, or similar business change.
Content you clip
You're responsible for making sure you have the right to clip and post the content you use. Clips you post are subject to the rules of the platforms you post them to.
Data retention
We keep your information only as long as we need it to provide ClipViral or as required by law. If you ask us to delete your data, we'll remove it within a reasonable time.
Your choices and rights
- Ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you.
- Unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any email or by contacting us.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. Contact us to use them.
Age requirement
ClipViral is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission online is 100% secure.

We may update this policy as ClipViral grows. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be shared through the app or by email.

The short version: Use ClipViral fairly, only clip content you're allowed to use, and don't abuse the app. ClipViral is provided as-is, especially during the beta, and we can't guarantee any clip will go viral or earn money.
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the ClipViral website, beta waitlist, and app (together, "ClipViral"). By using ClipViral, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use ClipViral.
Who can use ClipViral
You must be at least 13 years old to use ClipViral. If you're under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian, and they agree to these Terms on your behalf.
Beta access
ClipViral is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or be removed, and the app may have bugs or downtime. Beta access is free and may be limited, paused, or ended at any time. In exchange for free early access, we may ask you to tag @clipviral in posts made with the app and share feedback.
Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
- Keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us right away if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
Content you clip and post
ClipViral helps you find, clip, and edit content, but you are responsible for the content you clip, edit, and post. That means:
- Only clip and post content you have the right to use, such as content you own, have permission to use, or that a creator or campaign allows clippers to use.
- Follow the rules of the platforms you post to (like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram) and any clipping campaign rules.
- Don't use ClipViral to infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
You keep ownership of the clips you create. You give ClipViral permission to process, store, and display your content only as needed to run the app and provide our features to you.
Copyright complaints
If you believe content created or shared through ClipViral infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with a description of the work, where the content appears, and your contact information. We'll review it and take appropriate action, which may include removing content or ending accounts of repeat infringers.
Acceptable use
When using ClipViral, don't:
- Use it for anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or harmful.
- Try to hack, reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the app or its systems.
- Scrape, copy, or resell ClipViral or its features without permission.
- Create fake accounts, spam, or misuse referral or beta programs.
- Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your connection to anyone.
AI features
ClipViral uses AI to find moments, suggest clips, and edit content. AI results can be inaccurate or imperfect, so review your clips before posting. We don't guarantee that any clip will get views, go viral, or earn money. Any money you earn from clipping comes from third-party platforms or campaigns, not from ClipViral.
Paid plans
ClipViral may offer paid plans, such as ClipViral Plus and ClipViral Max. If you subscribe:
- Prices and features will be shown before you buy.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
- Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed, managed, and refunded under their terms. You can cancel anytime in your app store account settings.
- We may change prices or plan features with notice before your next billing period.
Our app and brand
ClipViral, its logo, design, and software belong to us. These Terms don't give you any right to use our name, logo, or branding without permission, except to tag or mention @clipviral in your posts.
Third-party services
ClipViral may link to or work with other platforms and services. We're not responsible for their content, rules, or availability, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.
Ending your access
You can stop using ClipViral or ask us to delete your account anytime. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, misuse the app, or if we need to for legal or security reasons.
Disclaimers
CLIPVIRAL IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T GUARANTEE THAT CLIPVIRAL WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, CLIPVIRAL WON'T BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, EARNINGS, DATA, OR ACCOUNTS ON OTHER PLATFORMS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF CLIPVIRAL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WON'T EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR $50.
Indemnification
You agree to cover any claims, damages, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from content you clip or post, or from your breaking these Terms or anyone else's rights.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Oregon, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as ClipViral grows. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be shared through the app or by email. If you keep using ClipViral after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
